Palm Springs Pride, Coachella Valley’s oldest Pride organization, today announced the inaugural Pride Equality Walk will take place this fall on Saturday, October 25, to ignite action and motivate the community to advocate for justice and foster a more equitable society for everyone. Palm Springs has a powerful and enduring legacy of embracing and championing LGBTQ+ communities, and the Equality Walk will build on that foundation, serving as a testament to our unwavering commitment to inclusion and equality for all.
“Let us walk together, WE CAN Speak Out, and Stand Firm in our commitment to a brighter, more equitable future. Fundamental rights and protections for LGBTQ+ individuals are under attack,” said Ron deHarte, President and CEO of Palm Springs Pride. “Our voices, united and amplified, will not be silenced. Let the fire in our hearts ignite a movement that cannot be extinguished,” added deHarte.
This Walk is about hope. It shows the way forward. It's about taking action and standing up for what's right. When we march together, we tell the world what Palm Springs believes in.
