In honor of what would have been Marilyn Monroe’s 100th birthday, Palm Springs is turning the desert platinum. We aren't just celebrating, we’re aiming for the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the largest gathering of Marilyn Monroe look-alikes ever seen!

The Great Marilyn Record Attempt

  • When: Saturday, May 30, 2026

    • 4:30-6 pm World Record Certification ​

    • 2-10 pm |live entertainment, food, and beverage activations

  • Where: Downtown Palm Springs, around the "Forever Marilyn" statue.

  • The Mission: To surpass the current record and fill the streets with a sea of white dresses and blonde curls.

  • All ages welcome. Everyone is included.

Sweetheart, if we’re going to be sisters for for the World Record, we simply must match!

Every registration includes a complete Icon Costume Kit. You will be prompted to select a size for each participant:

  • Standard Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, and XL are included in the base registration fee.

  • Plus Sizes: Available for an additional upcharge (add the item when checking out).
