GULF CALIFORNIA BROADCAST COMPANY TO BROADCAST PALMSPRINGS PRIDE PARADE LIVE ON CW 5 AND KESQ.COM
Gulf California Broadcast Company, the main broadcast sponsor of this year’s Palm Springs Pride celebration, will broadcast the Palm Springs Pride Parade live on KCWQ CW 5 Sunday, November 8, beginning at 10 a.m. The parade will also be live-streamed on KESQ.COM. The live broadcast will bring one of the Coachella Valley’s largest community celebrations directly into people’s homes, giving those who cannot attend in person an opportunity to experience the parade, its energy, and the sense of community surrounding it.

“For us, this is about more than putting a parade on television,” said Jerry Upham, Gulf California Broadcast Company General Manager. “There are people across our community who may be homebound, have mobility challenges, or simply can’t be there in person. We want them to see the faces, hear the cheers and feel like they are part of this celebration. That’s what local television can do — bring important community moments directly into people’s homes.”
The parade will be hosted by News Channel 3 Chief Meteorologist Patrick Evans and Angela Chen, with evening meteorologist Katie Boer along the parade route capturing reaction from participants and spectators.
As the main broadcast sponsor of Palm Springs Pride this year, Gulf California Broadcasting and News Channel 3 will provide special coverage leading up to and throughout the three-day celebration, highlighting the people, stories, and events that
make Pride special to the Coachella Valley.
