On what would have been Marilyn Monroe‘s 100th birthday weekend, Shann dishes about Marilyn and stories about more of Palm Springs’ most iconic women. Shann weaves together humor and actual history, gossip and sketchy-fact-filled stories, all with the skills honed through a lifelong professional comedy career.
Carr has headlined 40 years of queer comedy on nearly 100 gay men’s cruises, many hundreds of queer conventions, and thousands of offbeat events worldwide. She has lived in Palm Springs for 28 years, working full-time in the queer entertainment circuit of the travel industry for many of those years.
